Our Story

Welcome to Nug&Carol Design!

I am thrilled to share the heart and inspiration behind this handmade craft business. Founded in 2022, Nug&Carol Design was born out of a desire to create beautiful, meaningful pieces that honor two incredible women—my grandmothers, Nug and Carol.

My grandmothers were not only the bedrock of our family but also the source of endless inspiration and love. Their creativity, strength, and unwavering faith in God left a lasting legacy that I carry forward in every item I craft. They taught me the value of hard work, the beauty in the details, and the importance of honoring God in all we do.

At Nug&Carol Design, we believe that every piece we create tells a story. Whether it’s a lovingly handcrafted piece of jewelry, a custom tufted rug, or a beautifully designed home decor item, each creation is a tribute to the timeless values my grandmothers instilled in me.

Our mission is to honor God through our work, reflecting His love and grace in every design. We hope that our pieces not only bring joy and beauty to your life but also serve as a reminder of the importance of family, faith, and the simple, yet profound, moments we share with loved ones.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. With each purchase, you are helping us keep the spirit of Nug and Carol alive, sharing their legacy with the world, and most importantly honoring God through the gift He has given me of handmade art.

With love and gratitude,
Carina B.

Nug&Carol Design is a handmade craft business. My dream is to be your one women "Etsy" shop and help everyone experience art in a unique way. You name it I can create it!

Nug&Carol Design is named after my two grandmothers I recently lost a year apart from one another. They were women who greatly influenced my life and help shaped the woman I am today. Nug was a special needs teacher and care taker who had a knack for art and creativity. Carol was a school secretary that later was called into ministry and served as one of the first women ministers in her church.

When I lost them, I felt like I lost pieces of myself. To be honest I became severely depressed. I was a mother of two under 5 at the time so I had no choice but to "fake it to make it". So I needed to find an outlet. Thats how Nug&Carol Design came about. I've always been good at arts and crafts. At times I get lost in my imagination till this very day and create things from just a simple thought.
